  • Developed a new foreign exchange (FX) & settlements capacity for EQ Bank, from vision to strategic execution. Leading the FX payments solution suite, including product and technology, with a remit to drive the expansion of the institutional/credit union core services and the creation and growth of a direct, commercial segment. Full P&L responsibility and product ownership.
    • Achieved growth of over 450% since assuming oversight of the FX and payments solution, including 135% Y/Y growth for fiscal 2024. Won relationships with 2 of Canada's largest credit unions leading to new client volumes more than $600 million USD and 40 new direct commercial referrals.
    • Led an Agile team of internal and external partners focused on all preparation for entry into the direct commercial FX and Payments space, including the development of a Commercial FX Credit policy addressing the need to adjudicate derivative risk and settlement risk.
    • Created the automation process for all regulatory reporting, design of AML/KYC framework and drafting of all onboarding documents including Master Terms and Conditions and partnered with direct clearers to automate settlement of FX trades between Concentra and our clients.
    • Developed end-to-end process for issuing international payments for our direct clients and on-behalf of payments for our credit union partners to support their underlying members, including launching client UI for payment initiation, formatting payment to match “rail” as well as NOSTRO cash management.
    • Launched new FX and International Payments technology suite (May 2021) and was directly responsible for the entire implementation cycle; technology partner selection, vendor risk assessment, initiative risk assessment, detailing all requirements and scope of work and overseeing UAT and deployment.
    • Leading a current project with digital development teams to add virtual foreign currency accounts to the client experience portal.
    • Designed sales and go-to-market strategy for client acquisition, with focus on co-brand partnerships with Canadian credit unions and smaller banks.
