· Applied the Knowledge to Action framework to pinpoint disparities between knowledge and practice related to horizontal violence.

· Conducted a literature review to identify cognitive rehearsal training as an effective intervention for enhancing awareness, knowledge, confidence, and communication skills during instances of horizontal violence.

· Led a 40-minute presentation for a group of over 40 final-year nursing students and evaluated the intervention's effectiveness through a one-time pretest and posttest design.

· Participants reported the most notable improvements in their confidence and communication skills.

· Participated actively in meetings and discussions related to patient flow, ONA (Ontario Nurses' Association) collective agreements, and staffing issues.

· Joined weekly perioperative meetings alongside the chief surgeon, anesthesiologist, clinical manager, and data analyst for collaborative discussions and unit updates.  Contributed by offering solutions and ideas to enhance workflow and improve surgical start times.

Initiated a hand hygiene auditing project within the operating room, commencing activities before the onset of COVID-19. Facilitated collaboration with key stakeholders, coordinated with infection control to implement an OR-specific auditing reporting system on the hospital's iPad, and crafted a PowerPoint presentation outlining the hand hygiene project.
