Hosny Elsayed Awad Saleh

Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with more than two decades of independent practice across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates. Certified Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FRCSI, 1997), with advanced expertise in complex trauma, pelvic and acetabular fracture management, joint replacement, knee arthroscopy, and deformity correction. Proven leader in education with experience as a Residency Program Director, and committed to training the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. Contributed to academic orthopedics through peer-reviewed publications, authorship of local clinical guidelines for pelvic fracture management and knee arthroplasty, and invited lectures at regional and international conferences.

Extensive consultant experience includes nearly a decade at the King Fahd Military Medical Complex hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia (2012–2021), followed by senior consultant roles in the UAE and Egypt. Most recently, served as Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Ain Al Khaleej Hospital, UAE (2023–2024) and in private orthopedic practice in Egypt (2021-2023, 2024–2025). Strong record of leading trauma services, managing complex surgical cases, and collaborating effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Recognition of Surgical Excellence

• Recognized by my colleagues and patients for my excellent surgical outcomes and the substantial improvement of my patients' quality of life
• My expertise in the management of pelvic fractures made my hospital, King Fahd Military Medical Complex, discontinue its previous practice of referring patients with such fractures out to Riyadh, roughly 500km away, and instead became a center of excellence that accepted referrals for these patients.
