I love to create art with alcohol inks and acrylic paints. I make greeting cards and large pieces for display.

Since I was a young child I have found solace within the expression of writing poetry and short stories. Journaling is another favorite pastime.

I am presently attending yoga, and hip hop afro fusion dance classes. In June of 2024 I will be performing with my dance class at The Capital Theater. It is going to be an exciting event for me, as I have not performed dance on stage in over 10 years.

Camping trips with friends and family bring a beautiful connection through nature and togetherness to my life.

Every spring I create a new garden plan. Each year is a different learning opportunity to enrich my base of knowledge about how different plants grow, and thrive (or not, hahaha!)! I planted 175 garlic bulbs in my garden last fall. Garlic does not need as much maintenance as other food plants, which will enable more time for me this year to concentrate on learning about flowers! I adore fragrant varieties, especially when the summer breeze carries their scents through my open windows in the evening!

My life is rich with a loving family. I have 3 children who are lovely young adults in their 20's, and one more still growing in the nest at home with me, she will be turning 12 years old in April of 2024.

Creating fun filled family events, playing with and immersing myself within different aspects of visual, literary and performing arts, and experiences in nature bring so much joy to my life!

I am very grateful that I am able to explore all of these gifts right here in Slocan, surrounded by the the incredibly glorious backdrop of the Valhalla mountains and the pristine waters of Slocan Lake.

In every direction, as far as my eyes can see, is this gem of earthly paradise I am able to call my home!

Thanks and praises!!!
