Hongyan Ma

I have six years of experience as an early child English teacher, during which I developed strong skills in curriculum planning, classroom management, and fostering a nurturing learning environment. My experience working with young children has equipped me with:

• Effective Communication & Language Development: I have helped children develop their English language skills through play-based learning, storytelling, songs, and interactive activities, ensuring a fun and engaging learning experience.

• Classroom & Behavior Management: I have managed diverse groups of children, creating structured yet flexible routines that promote positive behavior and social-emotional growth.

• Developmentally Appropriate Teaching Strategies: I am skilled in adapting lessons to meet the needs of children at different developmental stages, incorporating hands-on activities, movement, and creative expression.

• Building Strong Relationships: I have worked closely with children, families, and colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

• Observation & Assessment: I have experience observing children’s progress and using assessment tools to tailor learning experiences to individual needs.

With my background in early childhood education and language instruction, I am excited to bring my passion for working with young learners into a child care setting, where I can continue to support children’s growth, well-being, and curiosity through play and exploration.
