Hendrik Van Der Smit

I was born in the Netherlands in 1980, finished my schooling there before immigrating to Canada in 1998. I started working at Chinook dairy service for 23 years till the company was sold and now I work for the new owners Chinook Farm Innovations and I have been with them for 2 years. I have done everything from install to managing which I do now. My job is a lot of problem solving and organizing each day for my team. I also do sales, listening to the farmers about what they are looking for and finding the best match for them. I am a really good problem solver and take pride in helping people.

I have also done a lot of servicing of our farmers and still continue to, I take pride in making sure our farmers are well taken care of, by remote trouble shooting after hours and making sure they can continue milking.
