MA Counseling, C.C.C

Summary

Although I enjoy administration duties, my joy and heart is for the clients with whom I work. I gain great satisfaction, as a counsellor, from sitting and listening intently to them, so my clients feel understood, supported and encouraged to keep growing through the pain they are experiencing. I thoroughly enjoy crisis work, as well as finding innovative ways of having people connect with themselves to share their story. I take joy in seeing a few young women in my community as a mentor. Networking with other professionals and lay people in the process of coming together to create a case plan that works is paramount for those under my care. I am a self motivated leader who loves to communicate. As a home school mom and speaker I have found that I enjoy teaching and motivating students of all ages, children and adults alike.
