Involved in all regular duties of a pharmacist which included: filling of prescriptions, prescription medication counseling and OTC counseling, consultation with physicians, compounding, blister packaging, inventory control, holding clinics & giving presentations on important health topics, aiding with special authorization process for medications, medication management, injections and prescribing by pharmacist.

Duties included teaching and evaluating students on practical aspects of pharmacy such as: data entry in Kroll, completing patient profiles and keeping them up to date, entering prescriptions in Kroll, counseling, prescription checking, legal requirements, billing, special authorization procedures, and prescribing by pharmacists.

Acted as a full time staff pharmacist and manager, supervising a staff of 2 pharmacists and 4 technicians. Responsibilities included: inventory, sales, billing, workflow and labour management. Also monitored employee performance and completed employee reviews based on performance. Acted as pharmacist in charge insuring the pharmacy followed all legal regulations. Also responsible for ensuring quality customer service as well as handling any customer concerns or issues that may have arose.
