I have managed my son's U9 hockey team for the past 2 years which includes planning and effective communication on many different levels. Organizing hockey games with other hockey teams, planning away tournaments as well as organizing our home tournaments. I oversee our hockey team's travel plans for the away tournaments, hotels reservations and team dinners and any team building activities.

 I also volunteer on the Clearwater & District Minor Hockey Association Executive Board as the Secretary this hockey season. After joining the executive last year I was able to obtain a grant for our club to purchase new game hockey jerseys and socks, this involved a substantial amount of research and effective communication.
