  • As a certified Temporary Educational Assistant I have gained a multitude of experiences at Algonquin Public School in Woodstock.
  • January 2023-June 2023 LTA grade 1 classroom with an ASD student whom initially was not diagnosed. Transitioning the student from working in the hallways to then integrating them into a normal classroom schedules were the duties I assisted with. Following IEP's and MOAB's where necessary.
  • September 2023-current LTA integrated grade 5 dual diagnosed student. The high needs and care of this individual requires strong understanding and patience, skill and attention.
  • I have had many opportunities to work with all of the Developmental Education Classes at Algonquin as well as all of the integrated students assisting them with their needs when staff are absent, from feeding to toileting, dressing with a team approach. Experience also include writing Safe Schools reports, as well as Incident Reports.
