Proficient in mental health first aid and fostering inclusive environments, I excel in developing personalized care plans and promoting emotional well-being, ensuring optimal community integration.
I support individuals from all areas of the province with cognitive impairments and/or with possible mental health issues who are in different forms of crisis. I assist in providing emotion, physical and daily care, and improvements in their quality of life. I monitored and assisted residents through personalized programing that helps them maintain baseline behavior so community placement is possible.
I provided physical, emotional and personal care to intellectually disabled individuals. I helped improve quality of lief and provide a higher standard of living. I worked independently within a home-like environment providing physical, emotional and personal care to the clients and assisted in the clients everyday living which involved participation in care plan development and observation.
I provided nutritional meals, snacks and beverages to intellectually disabled individuals to maintain good health and weight. Delivered meals to different cottages throughout the centre and supervised resident workers in the kitchen. I maintained cleanliness standards in multiple kitchens.
I helped educate students in basics of English grammar and conversational speaking, designed interactive lessons to engage all learning styles and promote active participation. The children ranged in ages from 6-11 with class sizes ranging from 40-60 students in each class.
