  • 2023
  • Dear Hiring Management
  • I have been working in the veterinary industry as a registered veterinary technician for 20 years. I have a great detail of knowledge in anaesthesia, client education, surgical techniques, pharmaceuticals, animal nutrition and laboratory and hospital procedures.
  • With my years of experience working in both a team setting and an individual setting, I have learned to adapt to each and can thrive in all environments. I can work within a team setting or autonomously with rigorous deadlines set ahead of time
  • In recent and previous work history, I have held senior positions within companies where I worked for and helped to build a more comprehensive overview about the importance of client perception and customer care that I wish to bring to a new work environment that I feel could help all team members work towards building a great practice. While doing so, I still remained in a senior technical role where I was primarily responsible for complicated anesthetic and surgical cases.
  • Working in a managerial position, I helped increase revenue flow by introducing client perception value for our surgical services and dental services offered. I have also implemented training and certification protocols which are further detailed in my attached resume. Scheduling and ensuring that profit and losses are reviewed while remaining within (and even under budget) for payroll. Based on this position of leadership – I feel that this experience would be greatly adaptable at teaching and bringing the next generation of veterinary team members into the growing veterinary field.
  • I have experience with all office applications and some internal networking solutions where I have had to perform installation of several inbound computer systems as well as re-establish a network to enable clinics to work efficiently.
  • My extensive experience has led me to want to ensure that the veterinary profession continues to grow and develop the best and brightest minds that reflect the industry I have considered a major keystone in who I am professionally.
  • In my resume, I have further detailed some of my skills and accomplishments over the years that demonstrate my level of skills and experience that meet what you have stated you are looking for.
  • Thank you ahead of time for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
  • Sincerely
  • Heather Anderson
