My duties included maintaining & upholding detailed patient and medical records and the administration of documenting thus medical documents. I worked directly with insurance companies to process a claim, overseeing transactions and negotiations, Alongside this I managed office communications via phone or email dealing first hand with client relations, ensuring satisfaction and quality correspondence.

A customer facing roll in my family business, I have been working part time here since I was 14 and it has given me great interpersonal skills to succeed I have dipped my toe in nearly every aspect of the business from waitressing, staffing, cash management, barista training courses and event catering, With my new found marketing knowledge from my internship, I have now taken ownership of the marketing, running the social media accounts, I also recently carried out a digital audit and created a content calendar for the year ahead.

  • My duties/responsibilities included but were not limited to: Delicatessen Manager - Responsible for the deli display and ensuring it was presentable, serving customers all of the shops take away offerings
  • Managing the till where customers fixed up their bills and ordered more take away items
  • Overseeing rota plans - ensuring the correct staff were on and that the staff that worked well together were scheduled at the correct time
  • Cash management - emptying the tills throughout to ensure no excess cash was on display, lodging the money each day and ensuring the correct coin and cash was ordered for the tills float
  • Closing off of the tills at night - running off a till report and making sure the cash was balanced
  • Stock taking - making sure the shop is well stocked at the end of each day and noting any items that we are low on and must reorder
  • Waitressing - taking orders and clearing tables
