I started at Bath & Body Works as a seasonal associate for the Christmas season, I was able to continue after the season to further my experience in retail work. My usual duties include:

• Organized racks and shelves to maintain store visual appeal, engage customers, and promote specific merchandise.
• Handled cash transactions efficiently while adhering to company cash handling policies, ensuring accuracy in all financial exchanges.
• Built relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Managed returns, exchanges and refunds in accordance with store policy.
• Helped customers locate products and checked store system for merchandise at other sites.

I currently work at McDonald’s in Langley, BC. I have been working at McDonald’s for three years, and within 5 months of working as a crew member, i was promoted to Crew trainer and have now been promoted to Team leader. My usual duties are, creating a great experience for customers. Greeting guests, packing orders and preparing specialty drinks, and food. I train new crew in hopes that they learn new skills and know the proper procedures in the workplace. I am a part of the Health and safety team where I gained my fire safety certification, my duties include discussing and creating a plan to keep all staff safe in the restaurant to ensure we can all continue with our jobs.
