Ava Energy Inc is currently hiring Class 1 drivers and Owner Operators with Super B grain trailers

Under new management and looking to expand our team in Grande Prairie.

Must have a current and valid Class One license, First Aid, H2S, CSO tickets. Must have experience hauling super b with frac sand and driving off highway. Our fleet of later model trucks are all manual transmissions.

Required to work in and around the Grande Prairie area as well at out of town in Northern Alberta and British Columbia, with scheduled time off. Company benefits available after the probationary period.

Driver Requirements:

• Class 1 license with a minimum 3 years driving experience
• Clean Driver’s abstract
• Physically fit (able to chain up, secure loads).
• Flexibility with work hours as evenings, nights, and weekend work will be required
• Must be reliable, safety-minded, and have a positive attitude
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

• Demonstrated versatility in skillset by operating multiple types of heavy machinery to accommodate project needs.
• Operated range of heavy equipment on regular basis with skill.
• Operated machining equipment safely with team of operators.
• Operated excavators, bulldozers and dump trucks to transport heavy materials, practicing safety measures.
• Snow removal of business places and residential homes, salt and sanding and shoveling entrance ways, maintaining equipment, fueling, greasing, and regular maintenance.

• Maximized fuel efficiency through careful monitoring of engine performance while underway.
• Reduced equipment downtime, repairing fishing gear as needed to maintain productivity.
• Contributed to vessel maintenance tasks such as painting, chipping rust, or minor repairs, ensuring proper upkeep for continued operation.
• Streamlined work processes by implementing time-saving techniques during gear preparation and stowage.
• Working as a lobster, crab, and halibut fisherman, working in all types of weather and assisting in all types of work, always helping clean up and load up at the end of each day
• Managed daily vessel operations efficiently, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.

• Inspected fuel pumps and fuel tanks for proper operations and safety.
• Provided assistance to customers with fueling vehicles, promoting safety and efficiency on site.
• Assisted with inventory management, helping to keep stock levels consistent and update.
• Managed merchandise displays effectively, keeping shelves stocked and visually appealing for shoppers'' convenience.
• Pumped gas for guests and took payments.
• Collaborated with team members for smooth shift transitions, maintaining operational continuity throughout the day.
