My objective is to utilize my extensive research, teaching and leadership skills to theoretically and practically challenge social injustices in Canadian cities towards ethno-racial communities. My past MA and current PhD academic research explores urban spaces and further challenges the negotiation of boundaries by BIPOC youth through the symbiotic interests of various urban stakeholders and institutional bodies. Furthermore, as an Indigenous scholar, my research also brings ethno-racial minorities together in conversation through a network of solidarity.
