I am a dedicated and safety-certified electrical student, and an active (OYAP) student with hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial wiring fundamentals. I have a solid foundation in electrical theory, circuitry design, tools, and CEC-based installations. I also have a good foundation in workplace safety and have received training in WHMIS, Working at Heights, First Aid, and Lockout/Tagout. During my OYAP training, I gained hands-on knowledge of wiring receptacles, switches, lighting, and interpreting electrical plans. Stanley Wachnik, a master electrician and teacher, documented and signed off on these skills in my OYAP logbook. I eagerly anticipate applying these skills on-site and further developing my knowledge under the guidance of skilled practitioners. I am hard-working, reliable, and comfortable in fast-paced, hands-on environments. I take pride in solving problems, seeking assistance when needed, and working for a company that stresses quality and safety. Living in Georgetown, Ontario, I am ready to start work immediately. I am committed to obtaining a complete apprenticeship with a reputable electrical company. My ultimate goal is to become a licensed journeyman and Red Seal-certified electrician, eventually establishing my own company.
