Harpreet Bains

Burlington,ON

Summary

I recently graduated from the University of Toronto (Hon. BA) seeking the opportunity to further develop my skills within the Legal and/or Financial Services industry. Whilst completing my degree I have held several part-time positions, including working as a Receptionist with the Burlington Tax Planning Center and as a Customer Experience Associate, transitioning into a Personal Banking Associate at TD Bank. Each of these roles has helped me to develop strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, an understanding of managing sensitive data, and foundational knowledge of various financial products. I am a quick learner who thrives in fast-paced environments (as demonstrated by my past experience in retail), and this ability to be agile and adapt my skill set to the task at hand is what allowed me to draw on my critical writing and communication experience from my academic career to make a real impact in the context of financial services and documentation. I am confident that if selected for this role I will be able to learn the business needs and apply my skills, knowledge, and past experiences to become an asset to your team.
