The Break Through Tech AI Virtual Program is a year-long, fully online initiative designed to provide hands-on experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Participants begin with a self-paced Python Bootcamp in April, followed by the Machine Learning Foundations Course (May–July 2025), where they analyze real-world data, build machine learning models, and earn a Cornell University certificate. From August 2025 to April 2026, students engage in AI Studio, working in teams on real-world projects guided by industry and academic mentors. The program also includes mentorship and career development, offering monthly meetings with AI professionals, resume-building workshops, and networking opportunities. Attendance at weekly lab sessions, monthly mentorship meetings, and AI Studio events is mandatory, with strict grading and participation requirements, including maintaining a minimum 75% grade in coursework. Successful completion of all components earns participants a $2,000 award. The program is structured to accommodate students with existing jobs or internships as long as they meet attendance and deliverable expectations.

Required teamwork, great communication skills, and time management. I would go door to door in multiple neighborhoods in the Tracy area explaining that there would be a Covid Vaccine Clinic happening. I would do this with one partner and we would have to finish neighborhoods in a 4 hour time period.
