Robogals Circuit Workshop

• Part of a small team that designed and created a circuits workshop as apart of my Engineering Design and Practice course.
• Designed and created an interactive workshop that teaches young students how to design a circuit similar to that of Hasbro's Operation game
• The workshop was first presented in May 2021 at the Girls in Tech Conference, hosted by University of Toronto; there were 104 participants in attendance aged 12-17

Q-Vex Swerve Drivetrain

• Designed, modeled, and created a robot for the VEX U Robotics Competition
• The project deliverables were to build and program a robots for a challenge that involves precise manipulation of objects, autonomous motion and navigation, assistance and feedback for human drivers, and interaction with other robots.
• Learned the fundamentals of CAD modelling, programming an arduino, and assembly of 3D CAD models
  

Smart LED Bulb

• Created and designed an LED system that emulates the sun patterns of another timezone. The design featured a small light capable of outputting various intensities of red, green, and blue values to display any desired color and intensity
• The light, coupled with a web server and app, allows users to set their time zone and choose when they wish to be woken up by the light
• Learned how to read data through a phone's proprietary GPS module, create an application to communicate with the data, and communicate with the app by applying an algorithm that converts the luminance into red, green, and blue (RGB) values to be transmitted
