- Was personally recognized by the president of Canadian operations for my commitment on improving Health & Safety for all workers including both warehouse and office staff
- During my employment the company was switching from a manufacturing facility to a warehouse facility and became a certified forklift trainer through the material handlers institute train the trainer program to support that process and converted 75% of the work force from assembly to material handlers of witch they were 80% immigrant woman workers

Awards
Award of Excellence for Safety Innovation, 06/01/10, This award was given for being the lead of a joint committee that was looking into the largest cause of injury across all companies within the Bemis packaging sector knife cuts. The goal was to reduce the number of cut incidents from an average of 40 incidents per year down to less than 10. And through innovation and implementation of improved knives, PPE and cutting tools we achieved a reduction of incidents to an average of 5 incidents per year across all plants and in his own plant archived a 0 incident record for two years straight.
