As a Queen's University Trumpet Performance Student, my background includes many years of solo, ensemble, and orchestra experience. I'm passionate about orchestral music, dedicated to learning and growth, and I approach ensemble playing with enthusiasm and focus.
During the two-year period from 2020 to 2022, Orchestra Kingston faced a shortage of trumpet players due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. Thanks to Professor Dan Tremblay's recommendation, I had the privilege of joining Orchestra Kingston during this time and participated in many performances, including those during Christmas and spring break.
Starting from early 2022, I became a member of the Queen's Orchestra under the guidance of Dr. Wolf Tormann, and I have been serving as the Principal Trumpet since September 2022. During this time, I have participated in three concerts, with last year's performance of Bruckner Symphony No. 1 being one of the most memorable experiences.
Since September 2019, I have been a consistent member of the Queen's Wind Ensemble under the guidance of Professor Dan Tremblay. To date, I have taken part in eight musical performances, and I had the honor of serving as the Principal Trumpet during the 2021-2022 season.
From September 2021 to the present day, I have been an active participant in the Chamber Ensemble at Queen's University. I joined the Trumpet Ensemble from 2021 to 2023 and was part of the Brass Quartet during the 2022-2023 academic year. This year, I am continuing my involvement with the Brass Choir as well.
2020-2021,2022-2023 one of the winners of the KSA competition.
