• Collect patient vital signs at start of shift
• Conduct Mental Health Examination (MSE) upon start of shift and throughout the day as needed
• Conduct Suicide Risk Assessment (SRA) if needed
• Collaborate with shift nurses to conduct environmental safe search to uncover any prohibited contraband items from patient room/belonging
• Coordinate with shift nurses to provide holistic patient care
• Accompany nurse and patients out on daily passes and yard breaks
• Distribute meal trays during breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• Coordinate with insurance representatives to process claims and calculate correct co-pay information for patients.
• Establish and maintain patient profiles, updating organizational database with current information (Allergies, medical conditions, private insurance/drug coverage, etc).
• Receive incoming supplies/medication and stock in appropriate locations. Constantly monitoring inventory levels to inform pharmacists and manager of item shortages to facilitate resupply.
• Answer telephone calls from patients and doctors/clinics to provide information regarding prescription status, prescription refills, requesting doctors for refills, and in-store pharmacy services such as injections/covid testing, incoming verbal prescriptions, and other general store inquiries
• Package patient prescriptions and blister packs
• Coordinate over-the-phone electronic payment with patients in order to schedule courier delivery
• Manage drop-off and check-out of prescriptions
• Manage cash register

• Collaborate with preceptor and nursing educator to synthesize post-training knowledge competence test for CADD-Solis Infusion Pump
• Engage in program planning by evaluating assessment data from knowledge competency test

• Collaborate with placement preceptor to facilitate health promotion and educational health teaching for children
• Organize weekly activities to teach children about relevant health topics such as hand hygiene, sleep hygiene, healthy eating, etc.
• Conduct educational health teaching to promote self-autonomy and disease prevention

• Recieve shift report from night nurse
• Assist day nurse with morning care and day tasks (Oral care, perineal care, bathing etc)
• Collect patient vital signs (Temperature, HR, RR, Sp02, BP) throughout the day
• Conduct head-to-toe assessment and other focused health assessments (respiratory, cardiovascular, abdominal, etc.)
• Assist patient with ADLs (Ambulation, dressing, bathing, feeding, hygiene, etc.)
• Medication administration (Under instructor supervision)
• Setting up IV lines and priming
• Follow infection control measures and organizational policies
• Documentation and Charting
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide holistic care to patients and families

• Answer telephone calls and provide information about prescription status, ongoing refill requests, prescription transfers, vaccination appointments, and other general inquiries
• Process daily drop-off and pick-up of patient prescriptions
• Manage pharmacy drive-thru and front counter check-out
• Schedule appointments for in-store Covid-19 vaccination and testing
• Experience with both Kroll and HealthWatch pharmacy softwares
