Contracting with local home health staffing agencies in Orange County, CA to evaluate and treat patients.

• Evaluation of therapeutic/rehabilitative status of acute care patients in their homes, including functional mobility and strength, gait and balance deficits, overall therapeutic potential.
• Direction and implementation of Physical Therapy treatment and plan of care.
• Gait and balance training, creation of personalized mobility and strengthening programs for each patient.
• Home safety evaluations and subsequent recommendations for DME and other modifications to improve safety.
• Regular communication with HH staff and each patient's rehab team (including MD, nursing, OT, ST) regarding patient's health status and needs.

• Assessment and treatment of patients with varying orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses within the comfort of their homes.
• Development of individually-designed treatment programs to restore, maintain and improve physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent disability.
• Manual therapy including Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization, osteopathic joint articulation and mobilization, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization to address and treat various functional deficits.
• Education of patients and family members regarding diagnosis, injury prevention, and therapeutic treatments.

Contracting with Luna to receive and treat orthopedic home care patients.

• Conducting clinical assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs.
• Education of patients and family members regarding diagnosis, injury prevention, and therapeutic treatments.
• Management of acute and chronic conditions with full understanding regarding complex therapy needs.

Currently assisting in APU's Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program graduate anatomy human cadaver lab, each Spring semester (January-April).

• Instruction and implementation of lab dissection of up to 10 human cadavers amongst ~75 students/course.
• Use of technology via advanced anatomy apps and video, as well as other mediums (clay, bone models, diagrams) to teach and assist students with learning various topics covered in anatomy.
• Direct management of Graduate Teaching Assistants, facilitating communication with the students and implementation of teaching and study groups.
• Working with Head Instructor and other Adjunct faculty to create and proctor lab practical exams.
• Assisting with grading of anatomy lab practical exams.

Spent 12 Months in Kaiser Vallejo Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Residency training program.

• Evaluated and treated patients with SCI, CVA, TBI, GBS, MS, amputations, and other complex neurologic and orthopedic diagnoses using PNF philosophy and principles framework.
• Participated in interdisciplinary team meetings, patient/family conferences, performed caregiver training, and recommended DME for patients.
• Presented in-services on instruction of PNF and application of PNF principles in outpatient orthopedics.
