Currently, I am a 3rd year bachelor of nursing student, working as a nurse collegian where I practice skills learned within the clinical setting.
Assisting students through challenges including conflict mediation, therapeutic communication, program planning, etc. I recently completed a program tailored to international students accessing healthcare in Newfoundland.
Providing care for residents, cooking, and cleaning.
Majority of the time spent as a cashier serving customers, I also spent time in the kitchen as an acting supervisor and cooking.
I started volunteering with various groups at a young age. But most recently, I have taken the role of vice president of my nursing class, which involves collaborative work with peers as well as planning our graduation event. As well as serving on school council and student council throughout my high school years. Some other volunteer work I have done includes: Coach of the first shift hockey program, canskate program, along with children centered church groups. In addition, while a part of my resident assistant role, i volunteered with a stem cell research group, swabbing students, and providing education on stem cell services.
