Ha My Nguyen

10 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator is looking to obtain a challenging and professionally rewarding position in an industry that allows me to capitalize on my experience and keys skill with potential for long-term growth. I have been working in the field of early childhood education for 10 years, and I am passionate about providing quality learning experiences for young children. I am holding an Early Childhood Educator’s Diploma. I have taught in various settings, such as preschools, daycare centers, and elementary schools. I have also designed and implemented developmentally appropriate curriculums, assessments, and interventions for children. I have strong skills in communication, collaboration, and leadership, and I am always eager to learn new strategies and best practices to enhance my professional growth. I have attended on-going workshops and conferences on topics such as literacy, STEM, diversity, inclusion and subjects related to play-based learning. I have also been involved in mentoring coop students and college students who are pursuing careers in early childhood education, sharing my knowledge and experience with them and helping them grow as professionals. I also work closely with my teaching partner in the kindergarten school setting to plan and implement engaging activities based on the curriculum goals and the children's interests. We collaborate regularly to assess the children's progress, reflect on our practice, and adjust our plans accordingly. We also communicate effectively with the families and the community to support the children's holistic development. One of the highlights of my work is celebrating the multicultural diversity of our classroom and fostering a sense of respect and appreciation for different cultures and backgrounds. I enjoy creating opportunities for children to explore their identity and heritage, as well as learn about other perspectives and traditions.
