Hamidreza Aftabi is currently a research assistant at HCT Lab and ISTAR group at the Department of ECE, University of British Columbia. Hamidreza's research is mainly focused on Surgical Simulations, Biomechanics, Machine Learning, and Robotics. He is passionate about improving patients' quality of life by devising computational models that could be utilized for developing assistive and rehabilitative devices.
