In this position I acted as a liaison with community agencies; promoting and supporting community involvement/collaboration with the program to ensure that clients were supported in their stated goals. Other duties include the supervision of regular staff members as well as a pool of casual staff. Creating statistical reports and completing administrative tasks as required.

  • Worked alongside the Centre’s staff members applying the principles of restorative justice to a wide variety of conflicts (including neighbor disputes, online harassment, theft, impaired driving, and elder abuse). Over the course of three months I was involved in all areas of the Centre’s restorative justice processes including receiving a file, pre-conference, resolution conference, as well as follow up after the creation of a resolution agreement. Elected to the board of directors following practicum placement.
