As a laundry attendant, it is my responsibility to perform tasks (wash, dry, fold, label, deliver clothing) for residents within long term care, including linens/bedding. As new residents come in, I am in charge of recording inventory for their personal items and clothing. I am responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the laundry room.

During my time as a housekeeper, I perform cleaning tasks throughout the entire facility (30+resident rooms, common areas, offices). Sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, deep cleans, restocking of product, waste disposal, etc. This also includes organizing residents rooms, tidying and providing exceptional room cleaning to hospital cleaning standards. Maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary environment for residents/visitors/staff by adhering to safety guidelines during all tasks performed.

As a cashier and retail associate I was responsible for looking after customers and meeting their needs in a fast and efficient manner. As a natural value associate, I am tasked with working orders, stock, POS systems and keeping the department tidy by performing daily tasks. Working
orders required teamwork and communication among associates. As well as attending to customers questions and concerns.

As a child and youth care worker, I am responsible for looking after children/youth within the NS foster system. Providing them with support and educational experiences. Building solid and trusting rapport with children and families, fostering trust and communication to meet case needs. Some duties include :

• Documenting data and completing accurate updates to case records.
• Intervened in crisis situations and counseled children experiencing emergencies and disruptive incidents.
• Prepare meals, cleaning, life skills teaching, guidance.
  
• Used critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions.
