Key Responsibilities:

• Applied, adjusted, and removed orthopedic casts, braces, and splints per physician direction
• Removed surgical staples and sutures following post-op protocols
• Performed sterile wound care and dressing changes
• Assisted with orthopedic procedures, including fracture management and post-op care
• Accurately documented patient care in EPIC system
• Educated patients on post-procedure care, brace/splint usage, and follow-up instructions
• Collaborated with physicians, PAs, and nursing staff to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in the ER.
• Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs and medical histories.
• Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, such as defibrillators and oxygen tanks.
• Safely transport patients within the hospital, ensuring continuous monitoring.
• Document patient care, interventions, and observations in medical records.
• Support physicians and nurses during medical procedures and interventions.
• Administer basic life support measures, including CPR, wound care, and splinting.
• Ensure the emergency room is stocked and prepared for patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the emergency room.

• Provide necessary medical care to all patients
• Respond to service requests as directed by Dispatch Operations and provide required transportation
• Report patient condition and treatment to medical staff at receiving facilities
• Complete all required reports and paperwork in accordance with company policies
• Maintain familiarity with all applicable maps and information resources
• Clean and inspect equipment, ambulance, and crew's quarters as needed
• Maintain all required certifications and licenses
• Collaborate with other emergency response crews.
