- Operated power tools such as angle grinders and disc sanders safely and effectively when required.
- Installed flashing around window sills and door frames to prevent water ingress into wall cavities.
- Inspected finished work for conformance with specifications regarding smoothness, thickness and uniformity of texture.
- Attended safety meetings regularly to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures relating to safe working practices.
- Placed reinforcing mesh in forms prior to pouring concrete for added strength.
- Formulated plaster mixes according to specifications using gauging trowels, measuring boxes, and mixers.
- Repaired cracks in plaster by filling with patching compound then smoothing the surface.
- Prepared surfaces prior to application of finish coats of stucco or other materials.
- Measured, cut, bent, and installed metal corner beads to reinforce outside corners.
- Applied metal lath over wood frames or furring strips over masonry walls as a base for plastering.
- Mixed mortar by operating mixing drills and tools.
