i have had a successful 6-month combat deployment to the horn of Africa in the country of Djibouti where i was awarded my sea service ribbon and my global war on terrorism expeditionary medal and returned home and continued my occupational education and obtained my ordnance team leader qualification which required a rank wavier to obtain after i was state side for a couple months i branched out for opportunities in the marine corps and began my journey as a marine combat marksmanship instructor where my public speaking abilities and teaching skills really blossomed
