To start with I have been in the crane industry since 1996.
The company I was working for was instrumental in the introduction of self erecting cranes in Canada. We as a company developed alot of the practices and procedures that are used today. Wooden pads, test blocks, counterweights, logistics, transport etc.
1998.We, the company was trained by a Peiner Technican to erect Peiner SMK 108 self erects. Those were the first cranes that were imported to western Canada.
1999. Potain GTMR 331c cranes were purchased. We had a factory representative teach us assembly and related actions on this model.
2002 after the company grew and other crane companies started to import self erecting cranes into Canada, the company was purchased by Eagle West Cranes Ltd.
During the next 5 years, I underwent various training and operations to do with the industry. I spent months of training and time redeveloping and designing cranes for North American market. Most of that experience was with Konig Cranes in Germany. I was responsible for the following cranes to be designed oe redesigned for North America. K45/35,K45/35-2,K60, K70, K72. K 200, K45t, K1035tkh to name a few. Design/redesign would mean all aspects of the crane including transport, erection, capacity etc. Since 2004
