• Served as A1 on small corporate events including board meetings for the Health and Education department

• Operated and assisted in the maintenance of mechanical/electronic systems including a 42-line, double-purchase, manual fly system; Clearcomm wireless comms; Barco projector and Roland video switcher; etc.
• Liaised between house crew, show crew, and cast/performers in order to ensure all tech requirements were met pre-show as well as delivered to spec during show
• Consulted stage plots, cue lists, and riders to ensure all elements of a show were set and in place for rehearsals and performances
• Called lighting, sound, and stage cues across Clearcomms during performances
• Managed efficient workflows in order to meet rigorous scheduling demands during setups, shows, and strikes
• Inventoried and deployed a variety of stage equipment such as dancefloors, risers, etc.

I went back to University as a mature student in 2010 to finish a Bachelor degree and to partially pursue a Master's degree; my job experience during those five years was limited to summer jobs and on-campus employment. I concluded my studies in 2015, and worked in food service for more than a year before moving back to my hometown and working as an equipment operator at a peat moss farm (summer 2016). After that I moved to Fredericton once again and my first job back here was snow removal at the Playhouse in 2016/2017.

Prior to 2010, my job experience varies from general labor to communications to retail and food service. Most of my adult life, from around 2006 onward, I was pursuing a career as a writer, in particular a playwright and theatre artist. My day to day jobs were always secondary to that career.
