A highly committed educator for 27 years in the UGDSB.
I believe that education can change the life of a child forever. I have had strong ties to the environment my whole life, and reconnect with nature as often as often as possible by teaching children to appreciate nature and finding ways to get out there (canoe tripping etc.)
I am always willing to grow and change, as well as take on a new challenge. I have a background in Social Justice and I believe I can apply my prior learning in meaningful ways to new ideas and changing perspectives.

- Held a variety of positions of responsibility over the years for the School Board including Chairperson of the Dufferin Phys-Ed Committee (prior to amalgamation), designate teacher at multiple schools (Centennial Hylands, Ross R. Mackay, East Garafraxa, and Priory Park P.S.) and "key teacher" at two of these schools.

- Developed impactful and strategic partnerships with the Credit Valley Conservation Authority and other local partners such as "Fishing Frenzy" and the Town of Orangeville Recreation Department.
