  • Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of Process equipments such as Pump, Reactor, Compressor, Scrubber, Condenser, Incinerator, Steam turbine, Distillation tower, water Softener, R.O
  • Water system, waste water system, auxiliary system
  • Assisting and working as a team with the shift engineer and other tradespersons in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the process abnormality and steam generation units
  • Operation and maintenance of Water tube, Fire tube and waste heat recovery boiler
  • Production of steam using waste heat from Reactors and produce Electricity by optimal operation of Steam turbine
  • Cooling Tower operation and Maintenance for use in Distillation tower Condenser, Process Condenser, Dump Steam Condenser
  • Competent in utilizing DCS - ABB and Bailey system for plant operations from the control room for accurate operations leading to improved efficiency and decreased downtime
  • Testing Water quality for Boilers by Performing Water test and Adjusting Chemicals for water treatment
  • Maintain Xylene level in sewer as per city requirement by Operation of Carbon Column to absorb excess Xylene and switching Exhausted Column with Fresh one
  • Preparation for Condenser washes by flipping blinds to divert the Process flow and allow wash water to flow through condensers
  • Receiving Butane and Maleic Anhydride Railcars from CN, preparing them for offloading, and safely transferring material to storage tanks
  • Safely filling tanker trucks with Maleic Anhydride in preparation for delivery to customers
  • Receive, set up, and safely offload Magnesium Hydroxide, Xylene, and Butane from the tanker truck into the plant storage tanks
  • General Plant lockout and Tag out for Annual Shut down
  • Also Set up an Equipment by doing Lock out and Tag out for Safe Maintenance.
  • Inspection and Repair of Distillation Tower and storage tanks from inside by Performing Confined space entry using PPE such as SCBA
  • Safely Secure Reactor and Process During Emergency Trip.
  • Start-up and Shutdown of emergency diesel generator and portable diesel air compressor & switch over loads accordingly
