Graham Husack

Employed for 27 years as a community parole officer supervising offenders conditionally released to the community. While doing so, also held the role of Police Liaison Officer and Intelligence Officer for many years. Often acted in management positions supervising other parole officers for extended periods.

Position involved risk assessment, risk management, offender supervision, crisis intervention, complex problem solving, high level interpersonal communication, interdisciplinary and interagency cooperation.

Conducted abuse and neglect investigations. Provided interventions to prevent apprehensions. Apprehended children when necessary. Testified in court to obtain temporary and permanent custody orders. Worked with a caseload of children in care to ensure they received the services, care and supervision they needed. Worked closely with law enforcement.

Performed all duties of a police officer. Left this career to complete a second university degree.

Worked in our family owned franchise store at the St. Vital Shopping Centre for many years while attending high school and university.
