GRAHAM BARKER

I was a Volunteer Farm Worker, at Superior Farms in Lantzville from 2018-2020 As part of our weekly Middle School schedule I worked every Friday at Superior Farms in Lantzville. My work included cleaning and organizing the greenhouse and mucking out animal stalls.

During my time at Discover Montessori school, I was a Delegate at the Montessori Model United Nations in Zhengzhou and Hangzhou, China — 2014 & 2017 School Trips. We were given research topics and wrote position papers. My topics were ‘Sport for Development and Peace’ and ‘Nuclear Radiation’. We worked together with students from around the world to negotiate solutions to real-world problems. After the conferences, we enjoyed cultural tours and visited some amazing sights such as the Shaolin Temple.

I am also an organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.

I have grown a few trees from seed over the last few years and am working to create nice bonsai, my oldest tree is a roughly 8-year-old orange tree that a few classmates and I grew from a seed during class.
