- Volunteered in both Honours, Adaptive English classes and New Media English classes, assisting grades 10-12 students with a variety of needs and skills

- Worked independently with students with IEPs to improve their writing and editing skills during their essay construction units

- Co-designed lesson plans by consulting the BC Curriculum Standards, and First People's Principles of Learning, to give multiple 20-minute lessons under the supervision of mentor teachers

- Gave a 45-minute lesson under supervision and facilitated discussion for an AP English course, on their novel study

- Took on a leadership role when facilitating discussion as a class and in smaller groups

- Built a strong rapport with students, fostering trust between all
