As a current Community Outreach Worker for SchoolsPlus and the Tri-County Regional Centre for Education, the opportunity to apply for a permanent position immediately excited me. I am eager to continue supporting vulnerable families and at-risk youth in our community whether it be by helping them navigate services, providing them with access to other local resources or facilitating and helping with programming within our schools and community. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in this position and would love the opportunity to continue working, learning, and growing alongside an incredible team in a career I thoroughly appreciate and am passionate about.

This included Gay/Straight Alliance workshops as well as weekly outreach programs where we gave back to local community members in need.
MEtoWE
I spent ten days in Nicaragua on a mission trip interacting with local youth and building the foundation to their new classroom. I was able to spend days interacting with children from this country and learned so much about them and their culture. This was an extremely eye-opening and life changing experience that I still carry with me and reflect on often.
