LLB Candidate, University of Exeter - Final Term of my Accreditation will be in completed June 2027, after a planned 12-month BC work term. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Brentwood College School (BC) - educated, and now studying law in the UK, I’m comfortable supporting a diverse client base. After completing years 1-2 at Exeter Law School, I chose a focused year of full time-practice support to strengthen court/registry and land-title workflows in British Columbia before graduating. Available immediately for a 12-month legal assistant role in Victoria or Vancouver (through Aug 2026).
At Lextegic Law Corporation, I handled document control (from filing, to PDF assembly & naming), calendars/BF (bringing-forward clientele diary reminders and organizing files in accordance to date/relevancy), client intake, conflicts & ID/KYC (identification/know-your-client), and template based drafting (trust letters, and standard correspondence). I’ve assisted with Court Services Online (CSO) e-filings, prepared hearing/exhibition binders, run Land Title & Survey Authority/BC Online (LTSA/BC Online) title/charge searches, and supported discovery indexing with evidence handling and concise case-note & case law research for lawyer review. After the final year of my degree, I plan to complete the Canadian Licensing Pathway (NCA Assessment - through the Law Society BC Admission Program: PLTC + Articles). From day one, I would be ready to provide immediate, reliable support on filings, deadlines, and client hand-offs from day one. Although I’ve explored internship opportunities in London and Hong Kong (including international/cross‑border litigation), I am intentionally building my early career in British Columbia for now.
