A hardworking student committed to learning, developing skills in the culinary arts, and team contribution. Has a detail-oriented and adaptable work ethic with the ability to problem-solve, as well as the willpower to take on any task to help a team.
My most routine hobbies are cooking and learning Spanish. Being a creative person, it is easy to portray my abilities by applying my previous knowledge into my work. To learn from mistakes, my strong mindset pushes me to improve my knowledge to do better. Practicing culinary arts at Centennial is a great example of this, as chef Ali encourages, but also impels competency by challenging me with tasks I'm not necessarily familiar with. Practicing what was learned in the commercial kitchen supports the apprehension of not only the art of culinary, but also the actuality of abilities used in my everyday life. Relating to this, learning Spanish is an excellent way to train the brain to perform better. Since grade 9, the topic of culture and language has piqued my interest, so when the opportunity to take a Spanish class arouse, my curiosity got the best of me. Since then, I've carried my education to the next level by making it a regular pastime.
