With 25+ years of experience implementing training guidelines, procedures aimed at improving leadership, strong food knowledge, hotel procedures, cross training, and managing multiple employees are just a few things that are part of my list of achievements. For five years I dove into being an entrepreneur overseeing my own business operations, driving growth, and achieving business objectives, while creating menu, and cooking using my training from different culinary fields allowed me to deliver on a strong focus with guest satisfaction, managing sales, executing successful marketing plans, cost effective analysis and improving customer retention through quality service. When managing a team I'm dedicated to improving employee performance by coordinating team training, performance reviews, inventory control, quality assurance and maximize business results expected of me by the company I work for. A great time in my career was working as an administrator at a telecommunications company as a admin/personal coordinator for management controlling their in comings calls and emails, expense reports, accounts, maintaining managements itinerary, travel and customer relations. This job required strong organization and an eye for details pushing me to my limits. Currently employed with Compass Group Canada at SFU Burnaby managing 50+ employees each meal period, leader in health and safety, associate training, coordinate special groups, budgeting, inventory control and report to management with daily numbers just a few of my duties managing a large team. The experience gained over my career has places me in a position to lead a team big or small and to execute the needs of the business to see results.
