Developed and maintained a database to store and analyze data for a mammary tissue bank
Performed many types of small animal procedures and demonstrated to new users the proper animal welfare and biosafety procedures involved
Oversaw the production of high titre retroviral supernatants in a biocontainment level III facility and trained new users in the proper biosafety procedures.
Used Cesium or X-ray radiation units to irradiated mice and cells, and frequently demonstrated the procedures involved
Coordinated with external collaborators to share resources and expertise on joint projects successfully.
Used flow cytometry to analyze and sort cell types
Responsible for lab maintenance duties such as purchasing, recordkeeping, equipment maintenance and training
