  • Establishing, maintaining, and managing Health Advisory Councils (HACs) and volunteers to meet legislated mandates to provide advice and feedback to AHS through public meetings and engagement events while guiding Councils work and community activities.
  • Working collaboratively with AHS zone leaders and Council members to ensure alignment between Council and AHS priorities, consult with local community leaders (e.g., elected officials, community health partners), facilitate connections between Council Chairs media and media releases.
  • Leading Council recruitment for planning and executing public meetings while developing strong stakeholder relations to ensure the voices of the community are included in health system planning and foster strong linkages between Council members and AHS’ leadership.
