  • Managing the Discount Rate Calculator operations with a team of 5 people in India, 2 coops in Toronto/Waterloo and a Consultant in Montreal.
  • Walkthrough Deloitte through the Key Controls of the Discount Rate Calculator and insure there is no findings during the audit.
  • Received Exceptional rating per employee annual review.
  • Created many Python scripts including really well designed AWS process in collaboration with IT on AWS Sagemaker with a complex ETL pipeline.
  • 2022 CEO Award nomination for the work on the Discount Rate Calculator which included reviewing and optimizing the code and contributing on solving the challenges
  • Generate the Interest Rate Management report using Blackrock Solutions (Aladdin) for all our segments using Anser.

  • Manage the risk and underwrite surety bonds in my portfolio of clients (150) in the construction industry within the dollar exposure amount limits awarded to me per surety bond and within the overall limit of the client
  • Evaluate, comment and assign a score to the adjusted equity value, adjusted working capital, debt to equity ratio, debt and interest coverage on the annual and intermediate financial statements of companies that bid for projects that require surety bonds as collateral
  • Review the work of the analysts to make sure they took the right amount of reserves on the financial statements to adjust the different ratios
  • When deemed necessary, adjust the reserves taken by the analysts
  • Create dashboards on Excel when necessary to showcase different performance metrics
  • Renew and price the annual premiums for the clients
  • Price the performance bond whenever it is required in the surety bond
  • Manage and maintain good relationships with the surety bonds brokers and the clients
  • Manage and fill the legal paperwork to be sent to the surety bond brokers such as endorsements, movable hypothec and rank transfers in order to adequately handle the risk of each client.
