- I started training in January for a police auxiliary position within chatham kent. I am to be sworn in as a auxiliary member as of March 18th. So far training has consisted of charter and arrest procedures, use of force, DT (defense training), along with firearm familiarization. When all training is completed I will attend road closures to guide traffic safely, participate in community events, accompany officers on their day to day duty's, along with completing yearly training.
