  • Managed an entire inbound team and operations, which included hiring parcel sorters, CSRs and Lead hands, and all activities related to parcel sorting received from Amazon (about 10k per every night).
  • Created nearly 100 routes daily using the company's ERP and Other factors for all received packages and assigned them for sorting.
  • Improved operations performance by initializing and implementing Lean Six Sigma Principles. Implemented policies to reduce costs and eliminate waste. It helped us complete sorting at around 7:00-8:00 AM. (Prior was 10:00-11:00 AM). Therefore, the sorting cost had reduced to 40%.
  • Sourced vendors-built relationships and negotiated prices (products such as paper rolls, printers, scanners, racks, pallets ).
  • Purchased new products and oversaw inventory stocking and availability.
  • Maintained correct inventory level on Oracle, Google Sheets, company's routing software and FMC every day after walking around and checking out returned, damaged, delayed, and undelivered packages at the site.

  • Reduced sortation length by implementing Lean Six Sigma Sigma Principles. ( e.g. 2 hours of reduction (20% lead time reduced) from 10:00 AM to 8:00 AM). Thus, Maintained the company's KPIs as a labour cost of $0.17 per package( brought down from $0.20 per package).
  • Liaised with Amazon and Carriers to make sure loads arrived on time or not. Reported delays to Amazon through FMC (Freight Management Console).
  • Tracked parcel productivity per hour. Evaluate workforce needs. Planned work schedules and assigned duties to maintain adequate staff for the effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads.
