Tool Room Supervisor

  • Responsible for 21 Mould and Tool and Die Makers, overseeing the day-to-day operations
  • Responsible for tooling operations for 8 Automotive-Original Equipment Manufacturers such as GM, Chrysler, Ford, Toyota consisting of various tools and equipments
  • Developed and implemented preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all tools and equipment
  • Acted as a mentor, coach, and an advocate for the tool room employees to manage policies and procedures, staffing, training, and performance
  • Overseen the tooling design, development, and implementation for over 8 programs such as the GM T1, Chrysler RU/UF and Honda Odyssey sensor seals
  • Implemented lean manufacturing practices to various work cells to improve production efficiency between 10%-30% with methods such as improving tooling cycle time, eliminating and/or reducing tool repair and maintenance.
