  • Assisted in the organization and planning of the first-ever Drug Education for Youth (DEFY) program aboard Marine Corp Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms, Ca.
  • Designed and implemented a comprehensive training program for staff, incorporating initial and sustainment training, resulting in increased proficiency, safety, and management of attendees with zero major incidents.
  • Organized, developed, and planned the logistics, training of classes, and various other requirements for youth enrichment activities, staff development, and parent meetings. This also included emergency plans, command meetings, recruiting drives, and youth/parent conferencing.
  • Supervised more than 20+ adult mentors, 30 junior staff and over 90+ youth for 2 summer youth Leadership Camps for Phase I held in Santa Ysabel, Ca. This requirement ensured a solid base for Phase II leadership training.
  • 5 years of experience working with youth and parents assisting in preventing the spread of drug use aboard 3 different military installations, MCAS Yuma, Camp Foster, and MCAGCC.

  • Instructed and graduated 130+ Marines in the primary MOS, acquiring more than 1300+ hours of instruction hours and provided instruction for the following courses: Air Command and Control Electronic Operator Course (ACEOC), Air Defense Command and Control Officer Course (ADCOC), and the Tactical Air Defense Controllers Course (TADCC).
  • Assisted in 3 complete course rewrites. Personally, responsible for an entire annex update and rewrite for the Master Lesson File (MLF) including but not limited to updating and rewriting occupational risk management assessments, lesson plans, student handouts, learning objectives, and instructor preparation guides. This resulted in implementing 3 revamped courses simultaneously with current courses in progress.
  • Responsible for producing the ACEOC course schedule and coordinating training events.

  • Selected participant, as the subject matter expert for the aviation component of the 31st MEU in an experiment testing the capabilities of the Theater Battle Management Core System (Lite) while it was utilized by the Marine Expeditionary Unit to produce the air tasking order for Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Operations.
  • Oversaw the current operations sections day to day tasks including but not limited to interfacing Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS) into Command-and-Control Personal Computer (C2PC), Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (ADOCS) and Global Command and Control System (GCCS) while testing the different systems abilities to disseminate and integrate the air tasking order and the air space control order during operations.
  • Conducted TBMCS functionality briefing and instruction to the Navy’s Tactical Air Control Center (NTACC) aboard the USS Essex and the MEU’s aviation element.
  • Successfully integrated TBMCS with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems functionality during ship-to-ship, ship to shore and shore-based operations during Cobra Gold 2004, Ulchi Focus 2004, Training in Urban Environment Exercise 2004 (TRUEX), and Expeditionary Strike Group exercises.
  • Incorporated the USS Essex’s data link picture into TBMCS for the first time during the yearlong experiment. This was not previously achieved by any detachment before.

  • Served as an SNCO for the Squadron Operations Section in various operational billets and unit billets to meet the needs of the Squadron and the Marine Corps. Served with MTACS-18 for 3 years, including multiple training detachments and deployments throughout Asia.
  • Responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating training requirements for the Squadron.
  • Completed planning for numerous ranges, classes, and unit-level training requirements.
  • Subject matter expert for the operation, employment, planning, and management of tactical data links for the Marine Tactical Air Command Center (TACC) for operations in the Pacific Theater in support of III Marine Expeditionary Forces Operations.
  • Deployed during Operation Noble Eagle in support of MACS-4 and assisted with the training of junior air controllers. In addition, provided control from an FAA facility in the protection of the defense of airspace. I received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for my efforts during this Operation.
  • Primary planner for execution and maintenance of multi-TADIL architectures for numerous Joint exercises in the region increasing the ability of the Tactical Air Commander’s ability to command and control air assets.
  • Interface Coordination Officer for Cobra Gold 2003 training Royal Thai Marines in the proper procedures and techniques for integrating and maintaining Link-11 in a combined network environment, which are still being utilized to date by the Royal Thai Marines.
  • Provided critical liaison between the Combined Tactical Air Command Center (CTACC), the American Embassy in Bangkok, and the Royal Thai Air Defense Center.
  • Interface Coordination Officer for Ulchi Focus Len 2002 and 2003 integrating Marine Air Control Group 18 into the combined data link network between Republic of South Korea Forces, Japan Self Defense Forces, and U. S. Forces utilizing Link-11, Link-11B, Link-16 and interfacing into Command-and-Control Personal Computer (C2PC), the Communications Data Link System (CDLS) and Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS).
  • Detachment SNCOIC for the deployment of Marines for a proof-of-concept display and training exercise, ensuring safety and support requirements were met and assisting the Det Commander in daily requirements and adjustments as needed.
  • Served as the Classified Material Control Center CMCC OIC and managed the classified materials for the squadron, keeping 100% accountability of all classified materials and maintaining records of such materials properly and orderly.
